Sheets and Cells

MikroSheets starts with a regular spreadsheet grid. Cells can hold text, numbers, dates, or formulas, and a workbook can contain more than one sheet.

Use the tabs at the bottom of the workbook to switch sheets. The plus button lets you add either:

  • New Grid for flexible spreadsheet work.
  • New Table for record-based data with fields and saved views.

You can rename, delete, and reorder sheets from the tab area.

The toolbar and row or column menus insert or delete rows and columns. Drag row or column edges to resize them. Drag headers to reorder rows or columns where the current sheet mode supports it.

Use Freeze Header or Freeze First Column on freeform grids when labels should stay visible while scrolling.

Use the print button in the app header to print the active sheet or save it as a PDF from the browser print dialog.

Click a cell to select it. Drag to select a range. Use the fill handle to copy values, shift formula references, or extend simple number and date series.

You can paste rectangular data copied from Numbers, Excel, CSV previews, or another spreadsheet. MikroSheets expands the current sheet when the pasted range needs more rows or columns.

Formatting is available on freeform grids:

  • Bold and italic for labels or emphasis.
  • Fill color for status, grouping, or review states.
  • Alignment for text and numbers.
  • Display format for numbers, percentages, dates, and date-times.
  • Rules for conditional formatting based on values in a selected range.

Sort controls can order freeform data by the selected column. Frozen header rows stay at the top when a freeform grid is sorted. In structured tables, sorting is saved as part of the active view.

Use comments for cell-level notes, questions, or review items. The comments panel shows comments for the selected cell, and resolved comments stay in the workbook data.
