Comments and Revisions

Comments and revisions keep lightweight context inside the workbook.

Cell Comments

Select a cell and open Comments to see or add notes for that cell. Comments are useful for questions, review notes, decisions, and reminders tied to a specific value.

Resolve a comment when it is no longer active. Resolved comments remain part of the workbook data.

Revisions

Use the bookmark button to save a named revision of the workbook. Revisions are useful before imports, large edits, table changes, or cleanup work.

Use the restore button to review saved revisions and bring one back.

Caution

Revisions are saved inside the local workbook data. They are not a substitute for exporting a JSON backup if the workbook is important.

A Simple Workflow

Before a major change, save a revision with a name you will recognize later. After the change, export JSON if the result needs to survive outside the current browser storage.
