Filtering and Commands
Filtering helps the board stay one screen even when the work grows.
Text Search
Section titled “Text Search”Use the board search field to filter by work-item title, description, labels, and assigned people.
Search is meant for quick narrowing, not for building permanent views.
Due Dates
Section titled “Due Dates”Open Filters and use the due-date range to show work within a date range.
Due dates are optional, so work without a due date is hidden when a range requires one. Clear filters when you want the full board again.
People
Section titled “People”Open Filters to show:
- all work
- assigned work
- unassigned work
- work assigned to a specific person
This is useful for quick ownership checks without turning the board into a people-management surface.
Labels
Section titled “Labels”Open Filters to show work with a specific label or work without labels.
Labels are board-local. Switching boards changes the label set.
Command Palette
Section titled “Command Palette”Open the command palette with Cmd+K on macOS or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux.
The palette can:
- create a work item
- create a board
- create a column
- focus search
- clear filters
- filter by assigned, unassigned, unlabeled, person, or label
- switch boards
- open recent visible work items
- import backups, export data, or export a complete archive
The palette is intentionally action-oriented. It should help you move around the board without remembering where every control lives.
